Wi-Fi Jammer Detector

Sale Price: $165.00 Original Price: $249.00

The Wi-Fi Jammer Detector includes a USB power-supply, but can also be powered via PoE if your network equipment supplies it (if you are using PoE, DO NOT simultaneously use the USB power, this can cause damage).

Once powered on and connected to the internet, you can add the Detector to your the Wi-Fi Jammer Detector mobile app to register your mobile device to the alerts. The Detector will alert you to jamming attacks, and will also alert you if your Detector ever falls offline (due to ISP outage, power outage, etc. It will also alert you when the connection is restored.)

You should try to place the Detector in a central location around the area you want to protect, but most importantly the connection to the network should be wired all the way to your ISP (i.e., do not attempt to provide Ethernet connection from a wireless mesh-node on your Wi-Fi network, if you do this then a Wi-Fi jamming attack would sever the connection from your mesh-node to the internet).

The detection range of the Detector varies on the power of the jammer being used and the characteristics of the wireless environment at your location, but for a typical use-case we expect to detect even a weak to moderate jammer (~1-6W) within a 100ft radius.

It is recommended to wall-mount the Wi-Fi Jammer Detector, and try to keep as much distance from radio equipment (such as your own Wi-Fi router as possible — just a few feet away is OK).
