In Seattle, Washington around June of 2025, Fox 13 Seattle reports on 3 targeted break-ins at professional athletes’ homes. In all 3 attacks, recovered surveillance footage (likely from cameras which are hard-wired or have local-storage) showing the use of Wi-Fi jamming equipment. These devices are becoming more and more available for only hundreds of dollars online and can bypass many alarm systems due to the alarm’s reliance on wireless motion and door-contact sensors.
